Emmett Scott Creel, 43, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 in St. Tammany Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Creel of Bogalusa; his daughter, Emma Scott Creel of Bogalusa; his mother, Cathy Holden Adams of Bogalusa; two brothers, Hubert Grant Creel and his wife Sandra of Bogalusa, and Kendell Ray Creel of Tangipahoa Parish; one sister, Teresa Creel Magee and her husband Tommy of Franklinton; one step-sister, Diana Adams Stuart; two grandchildren, Ashley and Riley Passman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett Ray Creel.

Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home and Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 9 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Poole-Ritchie Chapel. Reverend David Helms and Reverend Nick Holden will officiate. Interment will follow in the Magee Cemetery.
