All three suspects in connection with a June 7 armed robbery in Sunset Acres have been arrested, according to Bogalusa police.

Bobby K. Ramsey, 19, 1419 Main St. and Justin Watson, 19, 1400 Davenport Avenue, #13, were arrested and charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault for the incident in which a woman was robbed of a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two join Chazmon James, 18, 702 Davenport Avenue, who was already in custody for the same charges.

Watson was also charged with violation of a protective order.

The arrests are the first made in connection with a string of armed robberies that have plagued Bogalusa since May 31. Police believe one group of young men could be responsible for all eight robberies.

A number of additional suspects has been identified. The investigations are continuing, and additional arrests are expected in the near future.

Anyone with information on the robberies is urged to call detectives any time at 732-BUST or 732-3611, or at 732-6238 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Callers may remain anonymous.

" It's so sad to continue reading or to watch on the news about any young man or young woman taking thier life down the wrong path being so young and living such a dangerous life with the knowledge of knowing it could lead to jail and maybe even death but we need to continue to pray for our young generation and continue to do our part as parents but the law has to do their job of protecting us, i just pray that this will be a lesson for the young men and they learn from their actions. " It's so sad to see young men in a situation like this. Unfortunately, justice must be served to allow safety amongst the residents in Bogalusa. It just breaks my heart that these young men chose this path! "
