Braedyn Isiah Blackwell, a resident of Bogalusa, was born on Jan. 27, 2009 and passed away on Sunday, March 8 at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Elizabeth Blackwell of Bogalusa; a brother, Tren’Darius Blackwell of Bogalusa; his grandparents, Herman and Lavane Mayeaux of Poplarville, Miss. and Harold and Susie Pounds of Bogalusa; his great-grandmother, Margaret Galloway of Bogalusa; and two uncles.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10 from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral services at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Pete Underwood officiating. Interment followed at Emmanual Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogalusa.
