" richard and myself christine were very sorry to hear about ron's passing. richard (ricky) and ron were good friends when i meant them both almost thirty years ago, but like all friends fell out of touch as they got older. Ron always had a smile for you when you seen him. Our prayers go out to all of the family and please feel free to contact us if there is anything we can do. "

    " Dear Aunt Sharon,
I am so s sorry to learn of Ron's passing away. I don't remember seeing him since he was in diapers and that was a very long time ago. He was such a cute little boy, so sweet and so smart.

I think of you often and hope you are well. I'll be praying for you and family.
    Sincerely,
    Ellen Pope Rogers
(daughter of Ina Meryle Humphrey Pope, a sister of Ron's dad) "

" Hi again, brother...Well, I see all the combing I done on your hair came undone during flight, but you still look great...I know that you know I was there with you at the end and that you know how much you are loved and will be missed. Tell the Ole' Man we love and miss him and you two try to stay out of trouble. Eat plenty of hot peppers and see if you can't come up with some new songs. I love you Ron. Goodbye "
