Red vs. The Wolf: Ben’s Ford Christian Drama Club presents a little different slant on the ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ story It was a howling good time when the Ben’s Ford Christ-ian School Drama Club presented “Red vs. the Wolf” on April 30. Red vs. the Wolf, written by Judy Wolfman, is a twist on the well-known fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood.” In this version, Willard the Wolf, a kind, considerate, and eco-friendly wolf, complains that he is a victim of misunderstanding perpetrated by the bratty Red. He claims that Granny knew who he was all along and that his disguise was meant to teach Red to be nice. Unfortunately, through Red’s devious schemes, everyone believes Willard to be a Big Bad Wolf. The drama club presented two performances, one to the school and one open for the public. The actors and stage crew received rave reviews at both shows for their hard work and dedication. Actors for Red vs. the Wolf, under the direction of Mrs. Jennifer Noah and Mrs. Marsha Thibodeaux, were: Wolf—Adam Jones Red—Kristin Sumrall Granny—Winter Thibodeaux Red’s Mother—Jennifer Noah Woodcutter—Collin Creel Deer—Alexa Jenkins Butterfly—Mikaila Daigle Rabbit—Chara Martin Skunk—Dakota Riley Stage Manager—Casey Mayo The club spent months preparing for these performances.
