Willie Rene Warren, age 60, a Bogalusa resident, died on Thursday, May 14 at the LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.

She is survived by her mother, Eunice Lewis of Bogalusa; her husband, Harry Warren of Slidell; two daughters, Lisa (O’Neal) Pittman and Kenisha (Kelvin) Jefferson, both of Bogalusa; a son, Reggie (Carolyn) Jackson of New Jersey; three brothers: Robert Lee (Gwendolyn) Francis and Dan Francis, both of Bogalusa, and Marvin (LaBertha) Francis of Baton Rouge; a sister, Glendora McKelphin of Bogalusa; six granddaughters: Kylandis Jackson, Brigette Morris, Ebony Barnes, Kiandis Pittman, all of Bogalusa, and Courtney Tatem and Danyell Jackson, both of New Jersey; a grandson, Jordin Jackson of New Jersey; three great-grandsons: Semaj Bateman, La’Derrion Morris and La’Travious Morris; a special daughter, Tanya Gholar and a special devoted friend, Cheryl Brown, in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Francis; a brother, Leroy Francis; three grandchildren: Eu’Terral Brumfield, Terrance Brumfield and Devionna Jefferson; and one great-grandson, Jamari Bateman.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 21 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1 p.m. at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Raymond Mims, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Bogalusa Cemetery.
