Bruce Edward Hunt, age 44, died at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 1 at his home in Franklinton. Born Aug. 27, 1964, he was a loving husband and father and a friend to everyone he met. He was the owner of Bruce Hunt Construction and enjoyed sports, LSU and Bowling Green School football, hunting and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Vessier Hunt; two sons, Ryan Bruce Hunt and Lee Michael Hunt; his father, Jerry Hunt and a nephew, Jason Jordan, all of Franklinton.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Jenkins Hunt and sister, Sharon Hunt Jordan.

Visitation was at Mt. Zion United Pentecostal Church, 18018 Lee Road near Franklinton, on Tuesday, June 2 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., continuing on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church, with Rev. Leon Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyson Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kevin Magee, Mike Williams, David Cupp, David Burris, Chad Spears, Tim Gay.

Honorary Pallbearers are Eric Newman, Jeff Fussell, Ricky Jenkins, Wes Fussell, Ronnie Fussell.
