Roger Dale Caves, 56, died at 11:45 a.m. on Friday at his residence in Bogalusa. He was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Dillon Caves of Bogalusa; two sons: Chris Caves of Varnado and Roger Caves Jr. of Denham Springs; a daughter, Belinda Mardale Caves of Denham Springs; four brothers: John Caves of Pine, Tommy Caves and Floyd Caves, both of Enon and Donald Caves of Amite; three sisters: Golda Sumrall and Ann Sumrall, both of Franklinton and Betty Brewer of Pine; his mother-in-law, Louise Dillon of Bogalusa; former wife, Wanda Caves; 12 grandchildren and one great-great-grandson

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Sunday, June 21 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., continuing on Monday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Keith Branch and Rev. Steve Keys will officiate. Burial will follow in the Corkern-Caves Cemetery.
