No arrest yet in latest Bogalusa killing

A Bogalusa resident was shot to death outside his home in the early hours of Saturday, and police believe Robert Charles Williams, 28, 706 City Limits Rd. was the victim of both murder and robbery.

The Bogalusa Police Department got the call about the shooting at 1:52 a.m. Saturday.

“EMS responded, but the victim was dead at the scene,” said Capt. Joe Culpepper. “We think he was outside his residence when he was approached by three males who tried to rob him and ended up killing him.”

The BPD has been interviewing witnesses, he said.

The incident was still under investigation as of press time Tuesday, and no arrests had been made.

Culpepper urges anyone with information that could help get the perpetrator or perpetrators off the streets to call the BPD at any time at 732-BUST or 732-3611, or at 732-6238 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Callers may remain anonymous.

It's sad when evil comes and seperates our beloved ones because that evil one has lost his or her soul ; that they have succomb to violence for idiotsy.     " its messed up when 3 people can get away with murder. i was robbed and shot about 3 years ago and they never found the person that shot me,hopefully that want be the case. my heart goes out to the family "
