Anthony Ray Sartin, 50, died on Saturday, June 27 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. He was a resident of Bogalusa.

He is survived by his parents, Ora Lee Sartin Bickham of Bogalusa and J. C. (Gaynell) Gholar of Oakland, Calif.; his fiancée Cassandra Sowell of Bogalusa; three children: Dewon Berry, Kevin Reed and Raye Diamond Hudson, all of Bogalusa; four stepchildren: Tommy Sowell, Michael Sowell, Harlum McGee and Horace McGee, all of Bogalusa; two brothers: Willie Ray Bickham of Bogalusa and Michael Gholar of Oakland; three sisters: Beverly Cotton of Bogalusa, Kaia Gholar of Oakland and Helen Joyce of Miss.; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie (Bill) Bickham; his maternal and paternal grandparents and a brother-in-law, Walter Cotton.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., continuing at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Tom Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery.
