Mildred H. Davis, 83, a resident of Poplarville, Miss., passed away on Wednesday, July 8 at Gulf States, LTAC in Bogalusa, La.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Davis of Union, Miss., Bonnie Dillon of Angie, La., Audrey (Don) Owens of Bogalusa, La., Ricky (Jessie Mae) Davis of Varnado, La., Billy Joe (Michelle) Davis of Crossroads, Miss. and Wayne Davis of Crossroads, Miss.; one brother, Orman Ladner of Savannah, Miss.; 11 Grandchildren, Scott, Brandi, Denise, Anita, Charmaine, Michael, Michelle, Brad, Vance, Carley & Jessica and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert C. Davis; a daughter, Darlene and her parents, Norman Ladner and Eran Quave Ladner.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 9 and will continue at 9 a.m. Friday, July 10 at the Church of United Faith Pentecostal Church, 1100 Marshall Richardson Road in Bogalusa, until the funeral service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Gene Simpkins and Rev. M.D. Owens will officiate, and interment will follow at Crossroads Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
