The annual fair will feature free hearing, bone density, glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, pulse oximetry and skin cancer screenings.
To ensure more accurate results, a 12-hour fast is recommended prior to glucose and cholesterol screenings.

Free immunizations will also be offered, and parents are advised to bring their children’s shot records to help determine need.
Immunizations against childhood diseases other than chicken pox will be available. Pneumonia/hepatitis immunizations and tetanus inoculations will also be offered to at-risk adults.
A Department of Health and Hospitals mobile satellite will enable updated shot records to be printed on-site.
Besides all that, information on a wide range of topics including breast health, diabetes and nutrition, child and parenting services, senior services and Medicaid, will be available. And participants will be able to ask health professionals questions about healthy lifestyles, maternity health, sexually transmitted diseases, car seat safety, emergency preparedness and more.
Applications for Medicaid, LaChip and the Take Charge programs, plus information on the WIC program will also be available.
Drawings for more than 40 door prizes donated by area businesses will take place every half hour, and the Volunteers of America will give away 100 book bags to children in attendance.
The Washington Parish Council on Aging will offer free transportation to the fair to people aged 60 and over, but they must call 732-6868 at least two days prior to the fair to make arrangements.
