The play, originally produced on Broadway in 1974 and loosely based on the Biblical Book of Job, is presented by the Franklinton Community Theatre and will have four local performances.
The shows are tonight, Saturday and next Friday and Saturday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and performances beginning at 8 p.m.

“It’s comedy. It’s great,” said Franklinton Community Theatre Program Chairperson Betty Gill. “I’m always amazed at the local talent we have.”
The shows, which include a pre-performance dinner catered by Mike’s Restaurant, will be held at the Ten-Ten Club, 1010 Bene St. Tickets are $25, which includes the meal and the shot.
