    " Uncle Dorman,
You will be and already are missed so much. Sometimes lengths of time would go by between times we saw each other, but that never seemed to matter. I loved you and Aunt Lydia so much and respect everything you taught me. Thank you and Aunt Lydia for being second set of parents to my mother, and my father loved you immensely. I hope you and Dad are hanging out and having a grand time. You can talk about music and fixing horns to your hearts' content. Love, Sandy "

" Rest in Peace, Dorman! YOU are now with your Lord and Savior, Jesus ... I can almost hear Him saying to you now, "Well done, my good and faithful servant ... enter into eternal JOY with me." ... I count it a blessing to have known Dorman, as a friend, fellow deacon, fellow choir member, a fine example of father, husband, grand-father, follower of Christ! We will surely see you again one day! PEACE! All Heaven rejoices! "
