Clevie Grover Duncan

Clevie Grover Duncan, 71, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at his residence in Mount Hermon. He was a member of Mount Hermon United Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Ann Watson of Mount Hermon; six grandchildren: Crystal O’Bryant of Tylertown, Miss., Stephanie McKenzie and Luther Watson both of Mount Hermon, Jeffery Nunnery and Tony Nunnery both of Liberty, Miss. and Shelia Nunnery of Summitt, Miss.; 13 great-grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernie Duncan; a daughter, Mary Nunnery; his parents, Elmer and Lonnie Duncan; a great-grandson, Payen O’Bryant; two brothers and one sister.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continues on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at Mount Hermon United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Jerry Cox and Rev. Raymond Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in the Maples Cemetery.
