projections, cost analysis and more.

Provided for the client are handouts, work sheets and outlines to expedite the learning process of planning business start-ups and business expansion ventures.  Emphasis is placed upon business plan development, feasibility studies, marketing plans, advertising plans, financial analysis and sources of suppliers.  The counseling department has research resources available to their clients, including accumulated secondary research references, magazine subscriptions, clipped articles, business start-up guides, and the Internet.

Approximately 250 clients from Washington Parish have been served since this program’s inception in the latter part of 1997, and there have been many success stories.  All information is confidential, the sessions are held in privacy in the Chamber boardroom and the counseling is free. These one-on-one meetings are available by appointment only.

If you are interested in scheduling a free appointment with the Small Business Development Center, please contact the Bogalusa Chamber of Commerce at (985) 735-5731 by Monday.
