Carol “Tootsie” Anne McMillan

Carol “Tootsie” Anne McMillan, 59, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. Born Feb. 1, 1950, she was a resident of Angie and a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister and the instructor of the Catholic Youth Religious Education (CCD) classes. She was the Finance Director for the Washington Parish Government.

She is survived by her husband, Henry James McMillan of Angie; two daughters, Laura McMillan and Tara McMillan, both of Angie; her mother, Gloria Tullier of Lafayette; three sisters: Glenda (Richard) Averette of Crossroads, Miss., Kathaleen (Mike) Burleigh of Sunset and Karen Ortego of Opelousas; one brother, David (Tonya) Tullier of Sun; five grandchildren: Isabella Causey, Kenneth Causey, Isaiah Causey, Edan Watts and Athalie Watts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a Rosary at 6 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church, 517 Avenue B, Bogalusa, at 9:30 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Patrick Collum officiating. Interment will follow at Bonnie Cemetery in Angie.
