Bogalusa City Councilwoman Wendy Perrette is among the 14 young men and women featured as the Northshore’s Finest 2010 honorees in the current edition of Inside Northside magazine.

Perrette, a former Daily News reporter, has spent the past 12 years as an elementary school teacher and the past eight years as councilwoman-at-large. She is also on the Camp Fire board and has won the Outstanding Community Improvement Award from the Louisiana Municipal Association.

The Northshore’s Finest honorees include leaders in business, service organizations and government. They are all noted for their community volunteer work.
