Kenneth R. Morgan, 72, a resident of Franklinton, went to be with the Lord at 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.
Luther “Harold” Stevenson Jr., 88, left us on Sunday, March 7, 2010, to go home to be with the Lord and join his beloved wife Evelyn.
Marylee Marie Borne Billiot, 67, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center.
Clara May Johnson Streiff Collins
Clara May Johnson Streiff Collins, 91, a former resident of Gulfport, Miss., passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010, in Franklinton.
Willie Richard Dillon, 79, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2010. He was born Oct. 23, 1930 to Ottis and Daisy Milton Dillon at their home near Lexie, Miss. He entered the Army in December 1950, and he proudly served with the 2nd Infantry Indianhead Division and earned the rank of Sgt. 1st Class while serving in Korea. After his military service, he resumed his work at the Gaylord Box Factory where he worked for 20 years. He was probably best known for his dozer service and did dirt and clay work around Franklinton. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and the Homer Magee Post of American Legion.
Aline Stogner Fussell, 75, a resident of Houma, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 R 11:15 a.m. A native of Dexter, Miss., she was associated with Terrebonne Parish Coastal Rescue.
Joe Bernard Kinard, 70, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010, in Bogalusa. Born Jan. 14, 1940 in Winston County, Miss., he was retired from the Starkville, Miss. Post Office. He served in the U. S. Army, stationed in Germany and the West Point Military Academy. He graduated from Louisville (Miss.) High School in 1958.
Robert Lee Taylor Jr., 63, departed this life Friday, March 5, 2010 at his residence in Bogalusa.
William “Bill” Frank Babington
William “Bill” Frank Babington, 87, a resident of Franklinton, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center. Born Nov. 25, 1922, he was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and had worked as a pharmacist for over 50 years. Mr. Bill was a past president of the Chamber of Commerce and a former member of the Franklinton Town Council. He also served on the advisory board of Parish National Bank and was a member of the Masonic lodge.
Perry Brooks Sr., 55, of Woodbridge, Va., died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Potomac Hospital.
Charles Wayne Goss Sr., 66, a resident of Panama City Beach, Fla. and a former resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. Born Sept. 25, 1943, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Peggy Joan Slade Seals, 74, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 at Resthaven Living Center. She was a retired registered nurse and a lifelong resident of Bogalusa.
Robert Lee Taylor, 63, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010 at his residence in Bogalusa. Funeral arrangements are pending with Crain & Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
A.C. Williams, 94, a resident of Angie, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at East Jefferson Hospital in New Orleans.
Eleander Otis Carter was born on March 22, 1929. A native of Franklinton and a resident of the Hackley Community, she was granted her heavenly wings on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.
Charles Wayne Goss Sr., 66, a resident of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away on March 3, 2010 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. Funeral arrangements are pending with Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home.
George Hicks, 82, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. Born Aug. 16, 1927 in Baytown, Texas, he resided in Conroe and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Hilbert “Bill” Lewis Sr., 74, of Bogalusa, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010. Born June 6, 1935 in Silver Creek, Miss., he was the seventh child of eight born to the late Prince and Estella Lewis. On March 31, 2001, he married Judy Fabre, who survives.
